How about having the picture of the volcanoes and ruins and stuff just load once, then have the game read the cache for those pics (for speed)

and if that is implimented, then it will take alot of stress off the server and allow for much larger pics or ever animations of the various elements.

allowing in the future perhaps 4 or 5 different looks for the volcanoes, gif animation, (a gif for eruption would be cool too)

Alright, we have enough people reading this who have talent so, come on guys, make a pic for exodus. perhaps we can convince admin that the one you make is better than the originals.

(the difference between the chicago mayor that was great when the storm hit and the one that was hated was simple, the one that was great called out to all the people and told them to work together to help the city)

I believe this is based on individual browser settings.  The images are loaded from the server the first time, and every other time they need to show up, they are pulled from the cache.  At least this is how it works on my browsers.  If anyone knows a better way, please let me know.

Superb idea.  I am certainly not an artist and I'm sure there are lots of you out there who can make better graphics.  For each graphic you make that gets used in the game, you will get at least 500 moves.  Send me a PM with your artwork and I'll consider it.

Image preloading for the terrain types should be functional now.  Any new image submissions are still welcome.
