I've been keeping fairly close tabs on my settlements and though I seem to have lost quite a few, the # of successful attacks against me has not changed in the last few days.
If I loose a settlement to someone, should that not register as a successful attack?

I am guessing maybe that stat only tracks attacks on your Homestead and the admin needs to tweak it.

If I loose a settlement to someone, should that not register as a successful attack? I have changed the game so that the stats are updated when settlements are attacked, just like with homesteads. What do you think of putting a max on the number of settlements you can own? Any suggestions as to what that number should be? I think that would help even out the game.

It would be helpful to know what the calculation is for determining the bonus you get from controlling settlements.

Based on what i have seen, the more settlements you have the more likely you are to receive a higher payout. I have still received the smaller payouts still (my alliance has over 500 settlements under their belts) so it isn't just a straight calculation.

It would be helpful to know what the calculation is for determining the bonus you get from controlling settlements. When you mine a volcano or search ruins, a randomization routine is run to determine how much you get. The number of settlements you and your alliance members (if any) own are used as a weight so the higher amounts become more probable.

I continue to lose settlements while not having attacks registered against me as well.

"This is a bug that has been resolved."
As of 12:15pm Central Standard Time on Thursday Aug. 24, this doesn't appear to be resolved. My statistics show no attacks on me at all, so certainly no successful attacks either. And yet I have lost two settlements in 24 hours? I don't see how that is possible. Is there a way to lose settlements other than a successful attack?
