Either the referrals page is incorrect or there is a bug in the game. It gave me 200 moves intead of 100 like it says on the web page.

I just double-checked the code and verified that 100 moves are given for each referral.  I did notice that you got two referrals today, so that's why you would have recieved 200 moves.

Just a note that referral bonuses will be lowered to 25 moves and 100 Mars Dollars as of tonight.  In return, there will be contests with prizes for people who bring in a lot of referrals.  Probably something like this:

5 = 100 bonus moves
10 = $5 Amazon gift certificate
20 = $10 Amazon gift certificate
100 = iPod Shuffle
500 = Portable DVD player

I'll post this on the main page later today.

Why did you change the referral thing ? only 25 turns and 100 mars...I much rather get the 100 turn bonus...I liked that alot and thats why I got referrals...now it just seems like a waste of time ....and yeah theres prizes and there good ones  at that but I much rather have the 100 turn bonus each referral......sorry for the semi-rant

not ranting but i kinda agree with jasonbay.  The 100 moves was a great incentive to get referrals.  Also.....when we get referrals.  Do they have to use the 200 moves for it to count in our count.  Because right now i have 10 but 2 have not used 200 moves yet....

Referral bonuses were changed simply because moves are valuable, and 100 moves is a lot.  The site also benefits from having a large number of members, so there needs to be a way to give incentives to those who bring in a lot of referrals.

To get your bonuses, all of your referrals must use at least 200 moves.

I am.  Admin is there anyway you could make it so we can see our referrals emails?  I want to be able to contact the few random people that have joined under me .  I know most of them but some i do not have contact info.  Could u make their signup email visible to us?  This will encourage interaction between referrers and their downlines also.  THanks

E-mails should not be posted anywhere for anyone to see, unless they aggree to it. Don't make them visable.

I've changed it to 50.  I think that's a fair compromise for now.
