Its hard to give feedback on the ideas if we arent sure how you plan to implement the system. Perhaps you would be willing to release the "rules" behind Alliances so that we can have time to ponder them before they go into effect? I am clearly biased here but it seems fair enough as I'm not sure what the game or individual players would gain from keeping the information withheld assuming it was relatively finalized.
Just something to consider, thanks.
Here are some basic guidelines so far:
1. You can either start an alliance or join an existing alliance
2. You may only be a member of one alliance
3. To apply for an alliance, there will be a form where you can fill out a short message and have it sent to the owner of the alliance. They will then be able to accept or decline your request with a short message of their own
4. The benefit of being in an alliance is that everyone who is in the alliance will get a stat boost depending on how strong the combined stats of all the members are. You will find more Mars Dollars when mining volcanos, and you will be immune from attacks by other alliance members.
I'm still thinking of more benefits, but am relying on feedback also. I'm sure this is a feature that will evolve over time.
