Where does it say the exchange rate can't change?  It went up because there are a lot of players eligible for payouts.

With this rate of inflation it will soon take any new players 3 months of solid mining to reach the payout mark  Tongue

I think it will be pretty stable from this point on.  I ran the numbers earlier today and payouts would have totaled several thousand dollars at that rate -- people were hoarding a lot more than I expected.  I'm still paying out a ton at this new rate, but I'm trying to keep it fair for the players too.

As long as you keep on top of it so that you can afford to pay out everyone each month that's all that matters.

he can raise it as long as he likes...it's somewhat unfair that people are trying to take advantage of him through this site..

But I guess that's the risk in making something like this...

It's gonna be a rough first couple of months until the rules are set in stone with an even game...but we are getting there!

neither do I, but you gotta do what you gotta do...

If he has to change something to make the game go on, then it is fine with me as long as it isn't too absurd..I just hate seeing games like this go down

Chances are the exchange rate will be less next month.  I don't see it going much higher than where it is now.

I just want the exchange rate that's posted on the 20th to be the final exchange rate for the month.

At the current exchange rate over $2000 will be given out to more than a hundred players, so I guess "ridiculous" is in the eye of the beholder.

There are other games similar to this where it takes months of play to get anywhere near a cashout.  Here, you can start playing and get a cashout in the same month.  I think that's pretty darn good.
