to stop people hording loads of md and cashing out to make a quick buck..how about..you have to play for atleast 2 months and have atleast 3 upgrades in each of the catagorys..
eg:attack 3
defence 3
or something similar along theese lines

I disagree. Making the minimum to 2 months would make lots of people leave. Sadly, most people who play this game are in it for the money and they want it quick.

I suggest having a minimum of 10 upgrades before you can cash out.

If you think about it, they are taking away from those players that work on thier stats and want to plan on cashing out...

They hoard the MD and boost up the exchange rate...

Personaly, i think to stop people from hording money without requireing them to upgrade to a certain level or have a time limit on cashing out. The easyest thing to do would be to put in a Fame type of script. Whereby the higher your fame is from attacking other players or settlements the more money you would lose.

Say you log out of the game with a 10 fame level, you then get attacked. The attacker wins an recives 10% of the total money you have on hand plus a little extra for the trouble.

If you log out with a fame level of 0 then it would revert the script now in place or some variation there.

As it is now when you attack a homebase you recive far to little, if you get attacked an the attacker wins the battle it should hurt the player, not just make him feel like he swated a fly off his arm.

If i am reading my stats right, in all the times i have been attacked i have only lost 98md, that is crazy.

Even though i have yet to hit a volcano eruption, it seems players are loseing more to them then they are to someone attacking there homebase for cash.
Make hitting a home base worthwhile and you will stop a lot of people from just hording the md waiting for cash out.

I don't even understand how someone who isn't upgrading at all and is just still collecting mars dollars is able to do so :?  They must not be located any where my 250 moves can get me to.  :twisted: I steal from any homestead I come across that I can beat. Nothing personal but with me limited to 250 moves everyday, I get MD from where ever I can so I can upgrade to higher defence to protect what I got and higher attack to steal what I can get. I understand ppl sitting on their md to reach payout but if other players are playing the game they way it's meant to be played then it wouldn't be an issue of ALOT of ppl hoarding.

And Newbies you shouldn't be scared to scout as you lose nothing from a failed scout. You will find that many, many homesteads are lightly protected or not at all, And just because you see a homebase or settlement belonging to an alliance does mean that it is untouchable. The bigger alliances recruit newbies too. NOT everyone in all the alliances have maxed stats.

There is no way homesteads should be sitting on gold mines without protection and hav't got ganked yet
