Trade forum is for posting trades ONLY. Not bantering back and forth, not interjecting in other peoples trades. Anyone who does not follow the trade forum rules (read: the ONLY postings in ANY thread in the trade forum should be an offer, a request, or a confirm!) will be banned from trading.

I don't think I was out of bounds on this objection and I am positive the admins will back me on this one.

This type of transaction is not appropriate for the game, and I know has been attempted in the past and should not happen.

I posted in your thread in the trade forum, purposely, to get the attention of the parties involved, other players, and admin all at the same time.

Both of you have been part of the game long enough to understand the problem here

The administration has come to a decision on this issue.  We have a standing policy of not allowing players to gift away the majority or entirety of their cards, minerals, exploration cards, or other account assets to another player.  This is in place to prevent the issue of several dupe accounts, or several people in real life, from being used to churn through a large amount of free daily moves and then consolidating to a single account for cashout purposes.  This is not Nigey's intent.  He was simply trying to reward a player that, in his view, has always been supportive of the game and was still active without dominating anything, since he (nigey) does not actively play a significant amount anymore.  We admins respect and appreciate that altruism, however we cannot make an easement on the trade cap policy, so I am locking the trade and it will not be allowed.

On a seperate note, Nigey is correct in that the objections to the trade should not have been posted to the trade thread itself.  Either a seperate thread, such as this one, to note the issue, or a PM to the same effect should have been used.
