I log in at least once a day, sometimes more.
But this game is not so fun anymore, there use to be a lot of people chatting, and challenging each other to do things..
Then we had the stupid wars and everyone got mean... and for people like me not in alliances it sucked...
Now i come on and 90 % of the time i am the only one in game.
YES we need help .. what to do?
I read alot of the suggestions, and have a few thoughts.

1. Settlements - should get less stronger for each day there owner does not play.    Then to rebuild them , owner has to visit them (use of moves)
settlement attack results should be  influenced by amount of moves owner / attacker has made say that day, that week...and
whether not they are logged in.

2. Homesteads - same as above

3. Instead of Wars-  more challenges per day, week... like whoever gets most settlements in day gets prize, or most moves use, or collects most cards...etc.

4. Games rooms - do NOT make poker tables, or casino - is NOT what site is about...and would mean even less people in game..

5. Everybody be nicer to newcomers, and don't attack someone say under a certain # .

6. get some of the reulars to be like moderators, greeters who will play and help newcomers...

and last but not least...keep smiling and remember have FUN!

If we're going to do something like that we might as well make everyone 30 to begin with.

I think your #3 is the best suggestion. Regular action, in addition to the missions, to keep people interested. OF course, Phobos would be great, too ;]
