I'm currently about 3/4 of the way through Tracy Hickman's The Immortals.  It's a solid book, and quite emotionally evocative.  You can listen to it for free by downloading it from podiobooks.com.  There are numerous other free audio books there.  I usually have one on my MP3 player to listen to in the car.  Do any of you listen to audio books?

I have never listened to an audio book. I guess I never really spend much time in the car or places where I can listen to them unless at home in the evenings.

Free? Sweet thanks for the tip. Hickman is a great author, and all the stuff he has done with Margret Weis is well worth the read too.

That podiobooks site is a great market for finding new authors. I would also highly recommend Scott Sigler.  I've only listened to two of his books, The Rookie and Infected, but they were both really good.  Particularly The Rookie.  I don't even like sports that much, but it is a fascinating sci-fi football book.
