my referals count also been purged!

So i have been advertising and bringing in new players for a long time now, i been working towards the bigger referal bonuses, But now you've purged all the inactive accounts my referals number has dropped right back down, I dont think thats too fair as i have no control over how long people i bring in contiune to play, how can i make the big numbers if my refs will be deleted every now and then?

The purge only applies to accounts who have been inactive for 15+ months.  While I apologize for the impact that it has had on your referrals, it is/was necessary for the health of the game.  Honestly, referred players who come in, play their starting moves, and then never come back isn't really helping us.  That was useful under the former administration because he was interested in being able to post that he had 70K+ members, and ignored the fact that 60K of those had only ever played once. 

We may need to review the referral policy to make sure that it is fair and sustainable.
