have you tried trading for moves in the trading post, or asking the leader of your alliance for a starting gift?

Here's a little change.... You need new members to feel comfortable starting the game. Either

-Remove volcano eruptions until they cashout
OR
-Set it so that maybe if they have over 50,000 Mds they'll get eruptions.

My last post focused mainly on the md issue - If it was implemented though I belive the game structure could also be modified to not only enhance the md spending by users, but to increase high end player intrest as well.

Why not offer incentive to be in the race for settlements? For example:

Top weekly prizes for top 10 settlement holders

Top monthly prizes for top 50 settlement holders

Random bonuses/awards ie. Rising star award - Most settlements taken in one day (of the month) by player. ect...

The best part is, the md to fund such prizes and awards can be funded from the moneys collected in ammunition sales.

I realize it may take a bit more caretaking on the part of the administration, but i really think it could add a whole new aspect of fun and competition to the game. In essence it would be like running a tiny war all the time.

Thoughts?

I see it working either way, the only thing I see that will be a problem is the use of upgrade cards.
I maxed out my cargo several months ago with upgrade cards, I'm sure others will do the same in no time.
Besides the daily allowance, maybe ammo should only be available by purchase at outposts or settlements, and maybe even by real money.
