Okay, I know that volcano eruptions are apart of the game and everything to make the game more interesting, but if a person doesn't have a whole lot of money and they are trying to get real far in the game, how can they if when they get so close, they lose a lot of mds due to volcanic eruptions. it just doesn't seem to make sense. I mean some people might be at one spot in this game for 20 or 30 years going at the same rate they are going. If they have a lot of money, I can see how they can avoid this problem, but for people who only have a little bit of money or are poor and don't have money, they can never avoid this problem. What's a person to do?

Become a subscriber, then you can use a no eruptions card and volcanoes no longer erupt and take your md's, also another way to get around the eruptions is to change all your md's to MD cards. You can't lose MD cards to eruptions.

yea, but see there's the thing. In order to use no eruption cards, you have to be a subscriber, why can't everyone have equal rights to the game no matter if they are subscribers or not. I understand that the game needs money to operate, but I feel as though if certain things cannot be accessed unless you subscribe, then in a way, you are "made" to subscribe. I'm not sure how to turn my mds into md cards. Does anyone know how to do that?

Offer MD's for MD cards in the trade forum, check out some of the done deals and you'll see how many MD's are offered for MD cards.

You can also convert mds to md cards in the timewarps can't you?

I have been playing this game for quite some time and I know of several players who have gotten as far as they wanted and Have not been subscribers, or have been part-time subscribers. It's all in what you want to make it.
Also about the volcano's---------don't hit them. NO one says you have to. Build up your mds and convert them. First things first.
Just my opinion

I know. However, without hitting volcanoes, you can't collect resources to sell to get mds though, otherwise it might take you years to get all the mds you need.

Missions have some very very nice rewards with no mining required. Just keep at it, you'll make it.

I thought this thread would have been about the server lag. It's become quite impossible for me to play this game. Sure the new server costs less, but is it worth losing your members?

The vast majority of players have indicated that the game is at least running tolerably for them. Are you getting any consistency in the lag? Does it appear to be happening at one type of location or during one particular action more than others?

I am with Grey on this one...
1st thing I thought this topic was about the frustration of doing 1 move every 6-7 secs
To give you an idea : today my teleport was announced on chat 10 sec earlier than the actual landing
E3K is starting to get unplayable at times....

Depends on when you get on and try to play. Sometimes it runs as good as it ever has, but then most of the time it is just too slow and frustrating. Recently I have been alot more busy with work and have less time to play, when I'm able to play that is when it is always slow I guess. Because of the lag and less playing time I am unable to even finish my 250 free moves, so I dropped my sub, no point in paying for something when you can't even use what is free. When it is fast again I will resub.

While it can be salow near reset, I find the game is nearly back to the old speed most of the time. Just have a bit of patience, more improvement will likely take place

Well the only consistency I can see is that I have the same lag everywhere in the game and at any time of day. I don't have a fast internet connection which is also part of the cause, but with the same connection I used to move around 3/4 times faster.
