You won't find Cashouts searching homesteads, you only get them from digging.

Started with 120K today and ended up with about 68K in MD cards and two blue cards, as well as a bunch of random color cards.  Oh, and lots of rusty metal.  Given the 30% discount to turn MD into cards, I guess that isn't a terrible outcome.  I'm determined to find that card!
