no,I like squash better than potatoes;too starchy and fattening.



Recipe for mashed squash:
1 butternut or acorn squash
butter
salt to taste

Peel and cut up squash,put pieces in a 10 qt pan;pour 4 qts of water in pan,boil for 10-15 minutes,drain.Put squash pieces in a bowl,add salt and butter and mix well.Let squash cool and then eat with fish and vegetables.A very good meal for dinner.
