If this was while I am here, I am very sorry!   :oops:  I have fought hard to not get involved anymore than I need to be and after the problems I have had PERSONALLY, I don't or didn't feel the need to fuel that fire.  

I am not a mod, admin or anything else, but a paying subscriber now (which I really can't afford to do)   I don't mind sitting here 12+ hours a day sometimes and I don't mind answering people when they have questions about the game. I know alot of it IS covered in the wiki, but like when I joined, you kind of have to play for a bit to even know the game to be able to figure the wiki out  :lol:    

But having others be outright RUDE to a new player tends to turn people off instantly! That doesn't help the game at all...   (I remember a short time ago this very thing happening, getting a new player upset enough to get kicked and then banned from Eric for them being in the "wrong"  yet I was here at the time it all happened and the newbie was NOT in the wrong, but stood up for themselves when they got attacked for not knowing the game!  :? )

I am not going to go into alot more of the cashing out before others bit, because I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, but when 2 people cashout in the same month, 1 says they have been paid and stated in OPEN CHAT, that was in the amount of  um... a large amount,  and the other person that cashed out on same day is still waiting, on a smaller amount... it doesn't look good to others.   Did this person get paid? WE don't know anything about it other than what was said in chat. Rumor? Starting more trouble? who knows what it was about...  like I said, we as the players do not know for sure on this as we don't handle the cash.

I am not going into alot on this either, it's not cheating so long as it can't be caught!  :evil:   I believe a while ago I saw a post on this from Eric about sharing coods. He said that those caught cheating would never get paid if they tried to cashout.... that should be noted above as well with that 1 member that DID get paid already....  :?:

My head hurts now and I will just go burn some more moves and keep playing the right way, the way I have come to love this game!

Okay, I know I'm relatively new here, but I nearly always join in the chats now- there are some really awesome people here and it's always nice to talk to them And I know that I'm only on the actual game about 30 minutes every day, just to make my moves, but if I'm honest, I haven't seen an argument in chat :?  :?  :? Although, there was one person recently who thought it'd be funny to call certain people names, but that was only about 5 minutes worth of stoopidity by him.

I don't know who everyone keeps referring to in their posts, and nor do I know the whole story (if anyone feels the need to PM me and explain then feel free :razz:), but I know it's making a lot of people unhappy

In order to stop the loyal members of E3k that make the game what it is from leaving, I think that perhaps there should be less tolerance, and more banning? Seems harsh, but seems like the only way of resolving the issues. Am I right?

I agree not to get rid of chat. It makes a great part of this game. You are able ot keep up with how others are doing. I'm not entirely sure of what goes on, but I do see some people treating others badly. I love this game and the people in it, and hate to see anything happen to it.

Why should everyone else be punished for others wrong doings? We already had that happen before, when subscribers lost their ops and only have voice now.  (1 of these people also posted somewhere about that as well, changing the homepage where is says subscribers get ops, but don't get it now..  well, if they didn't ruin everything for others, they wouldn't have to sit here for hours picking everyone else apart.)

I'm totally clueless on whats been happening (im pretty clueless in general) but I just want to say, dont lose the chat feature, its fantastic and I love to chat with all the great people ive met in there. a lot of them brighten my day, or confuse me, but either way, they are great

I also agree. I used to actually chat, but have been ripped into a couple of times when i tried to stick up for someone that  was being attacked by 2 certain people. since then, i do keep chat open but i dont chat unless i am talked to. or unless they arent in chat and i feel comfortable enough to chat.
   I prefer not to be involved in any of their confrontations, and that is what it always ends up being when they are in the chat.
  I also spend a bit of money on this game, just for the fun of it. I dont intend to cash out, it is just a fun addiction. this is a great game, and shouldnt be ruined by a couple of people that want to be the ones in charge.

I agree. If there are certain people causing trouble, then they should be banned for life whether or not they are subscribers.I like this game, I don't want to leave because of some troublemakers ruining it for everybody else.The chat room can stay. I used to chat until a few people took it over and start dominating the chat room. It is somewhat hard to get a word in.

It takes more than one to argue - I have been goaded, baited, and insulted by some in chat but CHOOSE to ignore it and not respond.  There is an ignore option if the chat is not pleasing to you, and you can hide chat.  I am astonished and grieved that this thread exists!  I have seen such friendliness in chat among all you accusers and the accused.  I don't know if I have just not been there to see the behaviors mentioned, or if they have been magnified beyond recognition, or if it's just my own belief that one deals with offenses with one another honestly and privately, but I think this is very inappropriate and shocking.

I can absolutely understand your view point...since you are in their alliance its normal to stand up for them...but if the vast majority of the people active on chat wants to ignore them, then what is the point? they can still continue to cause troble...

ignoring option doesnt STOP them from hassling other players...it just stops you from seeing it.

i too have seen much friendliness from them when they are apart...but when they are online together...well most of us here have eyes to see what happens and happened. Its needless to say when there is more than 1 person agreeing with jeff...
people from different alliances agree as well, incase you are going to say bias or "ganging up"

teralaska i agree there has been incidents with prolly each and every one that has posted in this thread. But the incidents are only once or twice and was easily handled. The two that is being talked about cause arguments and downgrades people all the time. I mean all you have to do is read the above posts they give many instances of it happening. I for one was just sick of it. The two intimidates people and that is wrong. no one should feel intimidated in a game. Alot of people like this game and love the people that play the game. I dont think they should feel threatened to play the game.
