20,000 holy smokes I know I new but just wondering where does the money come from to pay out to those who cash in?  just kind of wondering.

The game's revenue is about 35% from advertising and 65% from in-game purchases.

Since I posted this message last week, the total member count has gone up to 23070, so it doesn't look like it will be slowing down any time soon.

Any plans for this?

Do you have any stats on "joined" settlements, specifically who has joined the most and how many (say the top 50, like on the current hall of fame page).

I like the idea, and it will probably be added soon.

About 40% of the 20,000 members are currently active in the game.

If 40% of players are active, why about 70% of homestead I hit says it have no MD?  Cheesy

The new stuff you announced? one more day, one week?   I'm excited  whatever it is

Well the new members have no need to leave a bunch of money in their bases.

What I meant by this is some of the homesteads tcardoso is coming across that is broke are actually playing but just currently have no money in them.  The upgrade prices are cheap enough at the beginning that you can spend all your MDs for the day in upgrading.  After you've played a little longer then it takes 2 days.  It cuts the odds of finding money within when they don't always have it.
