Hey Eric,

Isnt it time you or someone sorted that alliance page out...its a bit of a mess now!

Can you get rid of the members of this page that are starting an alliance just to put free advertising in ?.At the very least ban this...they dont pay for this so why should they get it ?? Im sick of seeing advert banners for other sites or web addresses in what should be the alliance description!
And while we are on this why do you allow picture content and very large fonts to be used. Particular offenders of this are Perdidos,Shaolin Warriors,Hashim,uwants team,sumpah palapa,hkteam,Weblords alliance (Really f-king annoying!!) ,CFH,The Meek,12by12dailyalliance,Les p'tits francais....3 of these just in the last week. Its become an epidemic !!!
I dont want to see 2 pages of stupid pictures and 5 inch high fonts claiming "We shall inherit the earth!!!!" for Gods sake !
Most of these people dont even have 2 members to their name or even one settlement !

Lastly cant you make it a requirement that anyone starting an alliance own at least a minimum of "one" settlement before they can do this.
There over 500 alliance listed now and only about 100 own any settlements! I mean if your going to start an alliance at least lead by example otherwise whats the point !

Doing this would reduce all the dross that you have to read through at the very least and wouldnt be as annoying as it is now.

I know this suggestion probably wont go down well with some people (those that are offenders mainly!) but Im voicing what a lot people are thinking but havnt said !

I made the same suggestions about the 1 settlement requirement and the maximum picture size. Hopefully we will see some changes there soon.

I am with you all on this one too.  The Alliance page needs some serious attention.

Also, we have all talked about this site running slow at times and the use of band width. Doesn't that page hog up alot of the bandwidth with all of those annoying flashy moving banners.

Maybe simplifying that page could help speed up the rest of the site.

1 settlement, but once an alliance loses
all there settlements, it should be allowed
to continue to be an alliance. If that is at all
viable with the script/code of the program.
I was jumped on almost immediately as
my signature contained an advert for another
website and was asked to remove it, which I
did immediately without complaining.

Time for action is required

I agree that to create an alliance you should have at least 1 settlements, but if an alliance goes to 0 settlements it should dissapear! Alliance should not be one guy thing, its a community! That way we will reduce alliances that doesn't fit for anyone....

I agree with that.  I mean, it's not that hard to at least get 1-2 settlements, especially if you've got more than one person in your alliance.  I'm pretty new to this game, and I've got 3 settlements to myself.

Well if you were asked to remove your advert then why has no one else  :?: I applaud you for doing the right thing when asked but it should be a rule for everyone not just the occasional unaware player. :?
The alliance page is still littered with addresses for other sites and muck about alliance names that just cant be serious  :!:
If there are no rules posted on the site then of course people will be tempted to take advantage.

He was asked to remove the ad in his forum signature which is something that CSS and I take care of, but we cant do anything about the Alliances page.

Come on Eric please....since I raised this issue again there have been numerous alliances started under spoof names and now the latest offering is...

America. F**k yeah!

Come on  :!:  :evil:  I mean its not my country but if you have any pride then you'll remove this immediately and impliment my idea of having at least one settlement before you can start an alliance.
If this is not possible then disable the alliance button and make it apply to admin only if you want to start one.
