I think that if there is two or more players in the same house hold they should not be allowed to trade with eachother. I dont think its fair to other players if two players from the same house hold trade back and forth. i know for the most part people dont take advantage of this but some people do. i for one think its not fair when you see one person giving another person in the same household stuff for free or for next to nothing. i think this is the same as playing two accounts in my eyes.

I agree. My older sister has an account, though she plays rarely, and we don't trade with each other for exactly that reason. Eric lets us both play, which he doesn't have to do, and I feel that it would be cheating to exploit that by making trades of questionable morality.
It also shouldn't be that hard of a fix, I would think; if Eric is keeping a list of those households which have gotten permission to have more than one account, it would be pretty easy to stop private trading within a household.
Anyway, thanks for bringing this up, Jeff, because I've been thinking the exact same thing recently.

How is that effecting you, Jeff? I've only really seen a lot of trades between Kelate1 and her husband and I don't think they seem outrageous.
I've seen alliance trades that are WAY more one sided than any same residence trades.

well it aint affecting me for one. i just dont know how it is fair that two people that live in the same house can trade stuff with eachother. you have know clue how many people are doing it so you shouldnt comment on something you dont know much about. i will not name names but i think its only fair to the rest of the players in the game that there should be something done about this. i never pointed fingers at anyone that has traded with family members. if you read my whole post you would know i said that for the most part people dont take advantage of this. i have seen some that do though. they are the ones i think are ruining it for the rest of the people.

Excuse me but I thought this was a FORUM not a pm. If you wanted it to be a post where you went off on one of your "what's fair and what isn't" posts and we weren't supposed to say anything, you posted it in the wrong spot.

Upon rethinking this I realized that I've only seen one really egregious example of nepotistic trading recently. Since that's the case, maybe it's just those two players that need to be talked to...Overall, as Rita said, I haven't seen that much of it going on. Whether that's because most multi-account households have decided not to trade with each other, like my sister and I, or because they're doing it fairly enough that I don't notice, I don't know. I suspect it's a bit of both.
If Eric makes a rule saying no intra-household trading, however, I for one will certainly not protest. If it's being done fairly, neither party should suffer anyway - they should be able to find the same prices on the open market.

i really hope it changes cause i do think its unfair for a lot of the other players. then again thats my opinion. we all have one i know.

wow more topic came out
i trade with selangorde1 like other deal, he paid what he can get .
maybe just a 2 time he give me away like other member do
u also do before this big7, give away free stuff for nothing.
when u see other member deal with that its wrong - WOW.
i not just get the free stuff when do the trade.
look like HOT topic came out day by day after I cash-out then can make faster upgrade.
i also start from 0-0 playing this game, then came back after 1-2 month not playing for this game n still can upgrade for second time.
what i see u hate member when they cashing out, after that play again then can upgrade.
so WHY U NOT CASH OUT ? becoz u can buy red card to cash-out without cutting level down. its more hurt when u level still 20/20.
* i think better ERIC do like before
----> NO TRADING FOR EACH MEMBER SO FAIR TO ALL MEMBER
---------------------------------
maybe the old player are good than new player. they know how to make it fast n know where to find more md.

I kinda didn't want to do this because it feels like pointing fingers, but
http://www.exodus3000.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10593
is what we're mostly talking about, not you, Kelate. In fact, several people have specifically held you and selangorde up as models of what intra-household trading SHOULD be like, if it's allowed.

kelate the best thing might be no trading. my trades wasnt done with anyone in my household either and i was giving something at a later date anyways. the fact of the matter is a few people are ruining it for you all that play in the same house. im not mentioning names cause its not fair to them. and remember this is only suggestions.

Alliance members giving things for free is no different than 2 household members trading.
Maybe there should be a guideline for the admins to go by if the admin feels the trade is unfair or inappropriate.

Kelate, I see more jealous rants than suggestions...
Jeff told me time and time again that he was cashing out but never did because he was buying all the red star cards to make complete sets and get paid that way. Since he did that and now the payout for that is lower, I think that is why he's going after people who cashed out.
