Chat Room Rules

Ok, here is an updated rules list...highlighting the important bits.

1) No profanity. Please keep all chat "rated PG"--there are some younger players.

2) No flooding the room with multiple lines of text at once. The default chat window is only seven lines tall, so please keep this in mind when chatting. Keep your comments to a single line. Don't type a separate word on each line, and don't repeat the same thing over and over --this includes posting a trade link to the forum.

3) No advertising.

4) No links to other sites that are game play and/or referral based.

4) English is the required language in the chat room, but if it that not possible, other languages are allowed only in that you may try to see if someone else in the room can assist you in a private chat. You MAY NOT speak other languages as a way of hiding what you are saying from other players, and you should not talk to or about other players in a language they do not understand.

5) Your nickname must match your Exodus 3000 username, unless you are a moderator. Moderators can use either their game name, or their real first name.

6) You may not share contest answers with other players. Once you know the answer, send it to the email address specified, and wait until the contest is over before discussing it. (If you guess correctly, your bonus will be credited within 8 hours. If you use a search engine to find the answer, we will find out and you will not get a bonus. This applied to the google contests which are suspended at the moment, but might come back--)

7) Respect other people in the chat room. This includes having patience with the administrators. We deal with hundreds of requests, emails, and trades every day, and begging will not help your cause. If your request has not been dealt with for 8 hours or more, then you can ask.
